The English Toy Terrier (Black & Tan) Society

You have come to the landing page for the English Toy Terrier (Black & Tan) Society. The focus here is on the dogs -- our dogs, whether they're being used in a therapy setting, working on the farm as ratters, lying down before a warm fire in the corner (probably on their owner's lap), going on long hikes, or showing off their sleek coats and special extended trot in the show ring.

English Toy Terriers are a versatile breed!

They're also a vulnerable breed, often with fewer than 100 registered each year in their native isle. We want to work hard to protect them from being a dying breed, and we want to do this by:
  • connecting with ETT owners both at home and abroad
  • celebrating the diversity of dogs at work and play
  • nurturing a climate of health-testing and other responsible breeding practices
  • promoting the breed through all avenues at our disposal
  • aiding potential new owners in the all-important hunt for a puppy
  • providing ongoing support, advice, and connection for new owners and old alike
  • focusing on the dogs and what benefits them the most
If you want to know more about these wonderful dogs, please go to the tab "About ETTs".

If you want to know more about the society and its mission, connect via social media, or make enquiries about the possibilities of adding an ETT into your own life, then see the tab "About the Society."
